Who We Are
We created Enabling Minds to help schools, teachers and parents celebrate difference and embed effective child centred, inclusive practice into mainstream schools. All children have strengths that can be developed. It just takes curiosity and the right ethos from those working in education to make sure children have the opportunities and the right provision to enable children’s minds to reach their potential. This is our passion and what drives us to make a difference in education. If this sounds like you too, then get in touch to see how we can help you to transform your school.
Steve Clark
Steve’s teaching experience includes PMLD specialist settings, mainstream primary schools, ASC Resourced Provisions and most recently as a specialist SEMH Teacher and Service Lead for a local authority in the North West of England. He is in his final year of studying for an MA in Education (Leadership) at Edge Hill University. He is particularly interested in neuro-diversity (ASC and ADHD), anxiety and emotionally based barriers to school attendance (EBSA). Steve is also an experienced ICF trained coach and enjoys supporting both ECT and new leaders in their development.
Steve is proudly neuro-divergent. He believes that what makes him a terrible student is what makes him a brilliant teacher.
